Quality Engineer
Location: Commutable from Gloucester
Salary: £42,000
Hours: Monday to Friday | Days | 8:00am – 4:30pm
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business. This is a hands-on role where you’ll spend the majority of your time on the shop floor, working closely with production teams, suppliers, and customers to drive quality standards and continuous improvement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage incoming goods inspection and quality processes.
- Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Lead the site’s non-conformance process.
- Work closely with production to improve quality standards.
- Liaise with suppliers and customers to resolve quality concerns.
- Deliver quality training and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Carry out product inspections and ensure compliance with company standards.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a Quality Engineer role within manufacturing.
- Knowledge of quality systems and problem-solving techniques.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail.
- Engineering or manufacturing background preferred.
