Electrical Engineer – Field Based
Salary: £35,000-£40,000 DOE
Hours: Mon-Thu 8:00-16:30, Early Finish Friday
Location: Essex, Harlow (Must be located within commutable distance to site) – Field-based – daily travel to customer sites
The Role
- Carry out electrical maintenance, repairs and installations across domestic, commercial and industrial sites
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults
- 3-phase electrical repairs and testing
- Distribution board replacements and upgrades
- Pump and motor installations
- Lighting installations and improvements
- Emergency lighting maintenance
- Small electrical installation projects
- Complete service reports and job documentation
- Work in line with current electrical regulations and H&S requirements
Requirements
- Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience with 3-phase electrical systems
- Domestic, commercial and/or industrial experience
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Able to work independently and manage your own workload
- Good customer-facing and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence with 12+ months’ driving experience
- AM2 desirable
