Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 + Overtime/Shift Allowance at 1.25x
Day shift
25 days holiday + Bank Holidays

The successful candidate will ideally be dual-skilled in mechanical and electrical maintenance and have experience working within a manufacturing, engineering, plastics, aerospace, automotive, precision engineering or similar environment.

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Fault finding and repairs across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems

• Fault finding and replacement of PLCs, motors and inverters.

• Working on both single and three-phase electrical systems.

• Electrical maintenance including lighting, wiring, testing and alarm systems.

• Maintaining and repairing conveyors, pneumatic tools, hydraulic systems and production machinery.

• Fabricating and producing replacement repair parts where required.

You will ideally have:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Maintenance Engineer.

• Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• A relevant electrical qualification such as City & Guilds, 18th Edition or NVQ Level 3+.

• Experience working with single and three-phase electrical systems.

• Experience within a foundry environment would be advantageous.
