Production & Operations Manager – Glass Manufacturing

Salary: £45,000 + Quality Bonus
Location – Bedford
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am-3:00pm/4:00pm

The Role

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Production & Operations Manager to oversee daily operations within a glass manufacturing business.

You will be responsible for managing the production team, improving efficiency, maintaining quality standards and ensuring orders are completed on time. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can hit the ground running and make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the production team.
• Oversee production planning, scheduling and workflow.
• Improve productivity, reduce waste and control costs.
• Maintain quality standards and health and safety compliance.
• Monitor KPIs, stock levels and production performance.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely deliveries.

About You

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing.
• Previous experience in production or operations management.
• Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in process improvement and quality control.
• Glass manufacturing experience is highly advantageous.
